Accounting Experience
One key artefact that demonstrates my professional skills is my role as a remote accountant at Imkon Savdo Markazi, a retail business in Tashkent, Uzbekistan that operates through both cash and credit transactions. This experience provides clear evidence of my ability to apply accounting knowledge in a real business environment and understand how financial systems operate in practice.
In this role, I am responsible for recording employee salaries, organising financial data, and ensuring that all transactions are accurately documented. Working with both cash and credit systems has strengthened my understanding of different payment methods and the importance of accurate financial tracking. I must pay close attention to detail, as even small errors can affect the overall financial performance of the business and lead to incorrect reporting.
Through this experience, I have developed strong responsibility, independence, and problem-solving skills. I have also improved my ability to manage financial information efficiently and work with minimal supervision. Overall, this role has significantly strengthened my confidence and reinforced my motivation to pursue a professional career in accounting.
Customer Service Experience (Brisbane Airport)
Another important artefact that demonstrates my skills is my experience working in customer service at Brisbane International Airport, Australia. This role provides strong evidence of my communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities in a real-world, fast-paced environment where customer satisfaction is essential and service quality must be maintained at all times.
In this position, I interacted with a lot of of customers from different cultural and language backgrounds, responding to their needs in a professional and efficient manner. I regularly handled challenging situations, including customer complaints and time pressure, which required patience, adaptability, and strong interpersonal skills. At the same time, I worked closely with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and deliver a consistent and high-quality customer experience.
Through this experience, I have developed strong communication skills, improved my confidence, and learned how to remain calm under pressure. These skills are highly transferable and will support my future career in accounting, where professionalism and effective communication are essential.
